Modelling Progress

Hey guys, the past two weeks I have been very productive. In the first week i got most of the texturing out the way. Some changes were also made, one of the counters has been removed and the original story for the kitchen has been changed. The original story was that the kitchen was going to be a murder scene, as you can see on the door I added some planes which was going to be police tape. Sadly this idea has been scrapped due to not having enough time. The new story behind the kitchen is going to be a simple family meal, I have done this change so i can focus more on assists etc.

Once I finished texturing the counter tops and the cupboards I started to add some assets to the room like chairs, a table and a pizza box, which all have a part in the story of the kitchen.

I also textured the fridge which I did have some trouble with but it came out great. Once I finished my fridge I modelled some handles for the cupboards and the fridge doors and finally in the first week I started to texture the oven.

In the weekend I have been working on my oven and I've gotta say it was looking great but I was having trouble with the top so today I got that sorted with abit of help. Even though my oven isn't finished yet, it's looking great.

Anyways today I have been busy adding some extra assets in the kitchen. To start the day off I worked on my oven but I'm having trouble with some of the texturing at the front so I should have that sorted at a later date.

I also worked on some plugs and a light switch today, I will show them off in the next post.

Later on in the day i worked on a toaster, at the moment it looks really basic but I will be working on that this week. I also worked on some plates to give the viewer a better idea about the story of the kitchen.

Finally I started to work on the window, now this looks really basic aswell but this is also something I will be working on this week so stay tuned.

Well that's it for now, be sure to keep checking as I will be posting regular updates

Thanks for reading,

Daniel Bibby
